Laguna Golf Phuket is a resort golf course that benefits from the pleasant breezes of the Andaman Sea. The Phuket golf course reflects the natural beauty and tropical environment, as it is located at the bottom of a valley overlooked by forested hills and marshes.

Phuket's golf course was redesigned in 2014, and Laguna Golf Phuket is now both more challenging and more memorable. Golfers must be imaginative as each hole offers a multitude of shot options, and the two nine-hole courses offer plenty of variety.

The golf course is hilly and offers excellent playing surfaces and conditions. Fairway tiers, depressions, and mounds dominate the game. The wide fairways appear simple, but golfers must still place their balls to have good scoring opportunities.

Many holes from 1^er Nine holes define existing natural water features, while the second winds through stands of mature trees. Both courses benefit from large overhanging trees that influence play and frame most holes. The rough areas are a mix of wood chips and native grasses. Bunkers, on the other hand, are few and far between, with each hazard strategically positioned to appear prominent and come into play when necessary.

The last two holes are the most difficult: the monstrous 17th, 580 meters, which requires playing at least twice over water, and the magnificent 18th, par-4, where a well-struck shot gives a chance of making a final birdie.
